Our current project is located in Short Hills, NJ.  The house that sits on the lot was built in 1952 and is depicted to the right.  We will deconstruct the home, taking it apart piece by piece, nail by nail, board by board, and donating all of the usable materials, which will be about 90% of the current structure.  The foundation and slab will be escavated and repurposed as aggregate.  The new structure will include a basement, 2 living floors and a 3rd floor bonus room with outdoor garden.  The slab will be insulated to R20, walls R40, roof R60.  Solar panels will provide enough energy to make the house net zero energy usage and battery back-up will allow it to be grid zero, except for extended periods of no sun.
